In 1954, Bishop Joseph Kiwanuka of Masaka Diocese invited The Grail to start a girls’ secondary at Kasabbaale in order to empower the girl child. It was later changed to Christ the King Secondary school Kalisizo currently run by the Daughters of Mary (Banabikira)
Due to the need of having a formation house, in 1974, the construction of The Grail Centre Kitovu was started. It was officially opened in 1981.
In 1986, St. Elizabeth Social Training Centre Ggulama, currently known as St. Elizabeth Ggulama Vocational Secondary School was established. The purpose was to empower the girl child through vocational training.
In 1999, Nakasojjo Integrated Health unit was initiated. It is now a Health Centre III providing both Medical and Public Health for the people of Nakasojjo and beyond.
